Learn About The Captures

Rosette Nebula

The Rosetta Nebula is a vast cloud of glowing gas and dust located about 5,300 light‑years away in the constellation Monoceros.

Andromeda Galaxy

The Andromeda Galaxy is a sprawling island of stars roughly 2.5 million light‑years away, and it’s the closest major galaxy to our own Milky Way. Its bright core, sweeping spiral arms, and vast halo of ancient stars make it one of the most striking deep‑sky objects visible from Earth, even from suburban skies like Phoenixville. Containing an estimated trillion stars, it is double the size of our galaxy.

Its rose‑like shape is carved by powerful radiation and stellar winds from the young, massive stars at its center. This active star‑forming region spans over 100 light‑years,

making it one of the most striking and colorful nebulae in our galaxy.
