Rosette Nebula

Andromeda Galaxy

Our closest galactic neighbor, I captured this image on my sidewalk in September of 2025. This took me 13 hours sitting on the sidewalk over the course of a week. This galaxy is huge, with over 1 trillion stars and is 2.5 million light-years away

The Cone Nebula

Captured from my sidewalk in March of 2026, the Cone Nebula is around 2,300 - 2,700 light-years away. This region is activily producing stars. It is named the Cone Nebula because of the 7 light-year long cone on the right hand side of the image.

The Rosette Nebula was captured in February 2026 over the course of several nights. This nebula is around 5,200 light-years away and is one of the largest star forming regions in our galaxy.

The second image is called a Hubble Pallet because this is how the image looks through the Hubble Telescope.

Eagle Nebula

Captured on 5/15, the Eagle Nebula is where the famous "pillar of creations" is located. The nebula is about 5,000 - 7,000 light-years away. It gets the name eagle by its unique shape.

Orion Nebula

Located around 1,300 light-years from our planet, this is one of the closet nebulas to us. This nebula is found in the Orion Constellation. I captured this image in January 2026.

Crescent Nebula

Captured on 5/29, this is referred to as the "cosmic brain" because of its brain like appearance. This is about 5,000 light-years away and was formed by stellar winds from a massive dying star.

Pleiades

Captured in the winter of 2025, Pleiades also known as the 7 sisters is quite close to us at 444 light-years away. This is visible with the naked eye and is one of the closest star clusters to the planet.
