Andromeda Galaxy Framed

Captured from my sidewalk in Phoenixville, this image of the Andromeda Galaxy represents two months of dedication during the clear nights of September and October. The final photograph is the result of 12 hours of total exposure time and an additional 5 hours of careful processing to reveal the galaxy’s intricate dust lanes, glowing core, and surrounding star fields. This piece reflects both the beauty of our nearest galactic neighbor and the patience required to bring it to life from a suburban backyard.
