The Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula sits about 2,300–2,700 light‑years away, forming a distinctive shape where young stars light up the surrounding gas. It’s been one of my more challenging objects to photograph because it’s relatively faint and needs longer exposure time to bring out its structure. I captured this image over two clear nights in early March 2026, working patiently to collect enough data for a clean result.
